Because of its broad scope of programs and services, Outreach offers both undergraduate and graduate level internships for a wide variety of disciplines. An internship at one of Outreach’s divisions gives students a chance to put principles learned into practice. Outreach’s context gives interns exposure to students and families from a broad range of social, economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds. Each opportunity also gives students exposure to the overall workings of a Christian, community-based, human service ministry.
Outreach looks for interns who are currently enrolled in an academic program or other adults seeking to grow their skills or explore a new field. Outreach also looks for interns who demonstrate a sensitivity to the needs of low income and diverse populations, communicate professionally, and are interested in a faith-based organization. Outreach is a great setting for interns who are interested in both learning and serving.

When to Apply
Inquiries regarding internships are welcome throughout the year for placement during the fall, spring or summer semesters. Many of the graduate clinical internships at Outreach run from mid-July through May and students are encouraged to apply in the months of December and January.
