Volunteers play a vital role in our ministry. Each volunteer who contributes time, talent and energy to our programs also contributes to the fulfillment of our agency’s mission.
Volunteer opportunities are available for a variety of programs at every OCM site. Whether you’re making a difference in the life of a child through tutoring, greeting our clients at the front desk or volunteering for a one-time special project, your time is a valuable investment in our ministry.
We believe God is honored as our clients are served. Therefore, to ensure the best service we strive to make sure that your time is well spent and that you are trained and supported throughout your entire volunteer experience.
Outreach utilizes a thorough application and screening process to get to know our volunteers. In addition to completing an application, we ask permission to contact references and conduct a fingerprint background check for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
